Dear Members:
I've been a member of this organization since 1997 and have met so many wonderful women. Women who have taught me by tapping me on the shoulder and asking me to help out when I wasn't sure what I had to offer. Women who have amazed me with their resolve to continuosly strive to better themselves and others. Women who have shared their knowledge by mentoring. Women who have picked each other up when we thought we were down and out. Women who have laughed, cried, and laughed till they cried.
What's more amazing is that we all feel the same as we look about the group. I remember being scared when I first came to meetings, would I fit in. But so soon after I thought how lucky we all are to have such an amazing support group, full of mentors and friends.
This coming year will be an exciting one filled with opportunities to make a difference in the working lives of women, opportunities to enjoy a night out with good food and good friends, and opportunities to grow personnally, professionally, and politically.
Bring a friend or two or three along for what will be a great year!
